Notes: Some customers have a clause in the contract to receive release notes prior to the rollout of new firmware versions to their network. Those customers have their own internal quality management system and want to execute their own qualification tests in their test lab, or pilot tests prior to mass rollout.

This firmware release shall not be submitted to OKQ8 Sweden / Denmark, as they use Valina credit card terminals in the field. This firmware version does not support the Valina Credit card terminal.

It is recommended to upgrade all chargers in the field to receive the following improvements & functional evolutions:
  • UI: increased resolution of energy values on display to 1 Wh
  • OCPP connection: added the possibility to use a “weak TLS” in some use cases, where the server certificate validation should not be fully performed.
  • Added EVSEMaximumPowerLimit parameter to config
  • Improved modem connection algorithm
  • Languages: added Danish and corrected typos in Dutch and Estonian
  • OCPP: TxProfiles are not enforcing the TransactionId anymore
  • Changed default graphics for emergency stop button (removed arrows)
  • To avoid automatic starting of charging sessions when EVs are plugged-in after a reboot and AllowAllOffline = true, now the charger waits up to 5 minutes after reboot before considering itself offline.
  • CCS: Increase upper limit of the cable check test-voltage on 1000V
  • Improved interaction between charge controller and measuring subsystem
  • Improved interaction with Payter payment terminal

This is the German Eichrecht certified firmware version. Service will enable Eichrecht functionality in the final calibration routine after the Eichrecht hardware upgrade.
